About the Borders Fiddle Group.
The BFG comprises a core group of experienced fiddlers, supported by guitar, double bass and bhodran players, with a dance caller for events.
We have a mixed repertoire of dance sets and also play a variety of quieter sets for listening during breaks in dancing.
BFG welcomes new and beginner fiddle players! Come along to a practise and have a go. Our teaching style involves group learning and learning to play by ear.
